The '08 Fall Football Season Is Here!!
COED 2 HAND TOUCH BEACH FOOTBALL

3 girls & 5 guys on the field for each team, 2 completion = 1st down, 1 of every 3 plays must use a female as the operative player.

To register a team or individual simply click the "registration" link on the top of this page then submit the appropriate form & mail the appropriate fee/deposit to the address on the bottom of the orange nav on the left sige og the page

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Team registration deposit - The $200 deposit is divided into 2 purposes. $100 applies toward the team balance (total depends on # of players) and the other $100 is held as a "league fine Bond". This Bond must remain at $100 through the entire season and will be given back to the team/captain after the teams final game. The $100 will be used if the team incurs an unannounced forfeit thus owing the opposing team a $50 bar tab or if the team misses a Line Judging Assignment and owes the OCSSC Officials $50. With this Bond the OCSSC will be able to award the receiving team their "Bar Tab" that day! Any amounts that come out of the Bond MUST be replenished before 12:00 noon on the following friday or the teams game on Saturday will be a Called Forfeit. A "Called Forfeit" is one that is announced to the OCSSC before Noon on friday, allowing the OCSSC to inform the opposing team that they have been forfeited to. In this case there is NO $ penalty - but the team IS still responsible for any Line Judge Assignment!
If the Bond is NOT replenished within 11 days of levy, the team will be removed from the Season Schedule with NO refunds!

When everything goes smooth - At the end of the season each team will receive $100 back!

 

Sign-ups

ALL SIGN-UPS & MEETING LOCATION:
All coaches meetings and individual sign-ups will be scheduled in the near future

CURRENT CAPTAIN SIGN UP DATE:
Registration Deadline for Fall Football 2008 is August 27 2008

NEW COACHES SIGN UP DATE:
We are currently accepting new Team Registrations!
New teams send/bring a $200 deposit to be considered for the new season.

INDIVIDUALS SIGN UP DATE:
We are currently accepting new Team Registrations!
All individuals who wish to play football but do not have a team send/bring a $60 registration fee. Your name will be put on the following lists:
a) established teams who need players
b) roster for individual teams that are formed with other individuals.

A captain will be needed for each individual team. The $60 league fee will be waived for anybody who would like to captain on of these teams. If the OCSSC does not find a place for you, the league fee will be refunded. The number of individuals needed/teams formed will be determined after the coaches meeting.

 


Mandatory Meetings

2008 FALL FOOTBALL CAPTAIN MEETING DATE:
Sept 3 2008
Location: Rudys Pub & Grill
This meeting is for 2008 football captains & co-captains only. Captains bring your completed Captains information Sheet to be handed in at this date. (# of players, team name, tee sizes, etc ) Each team will need to have a co-captain. Co-captain should attend this meeting also to familiarize themselves with the rules. All rules and captains questions will be gone over at this meeting.

LAST DAY TO ORDER FALL FOOTBALL SHIRTS:
Sept 3 2008
All OCSSC shirts are custom made and therefore we have a due date from the printer. Shirts may not be ordered through email after midnight of the above due date. You will be charged for the total number of tee shirts that appear on the order form found this website. You may update your tee shirt order (color, size, & quantity) through email up until the deadline. See below for detailed ordering instructions.

CAPTAIN TEE SHIRT PICK-UP:
Thursday Sept 11 after 7:00
This is not a meeting but the captain or team representative must pick up shirts. Captains bring your money balance due/signed rosters and you will receive team shirts, paper schedules, etc.

CAPTAIN INFORMATION:
Each coach must enter their personal and co-captains information on the signup sheet; name, e-mail address, work/home phone numbers. Each team must have a co-captain to ensure that timely captaining information is received. Please update captain and co-captain information if it happens to change during the season.

TEAM PAYMENT:
The OCSSC realizes that sometimes it is difficult to collect players' money before tee shirt pick up or even at the first game. We will allow teams to carry over a balance to the first game if it was not paid in full at tee shirt pick up. Before the start of the first game, 1/2 of the balance (if not all) must be paid. By the second week, the final balance must be paid in full. If payment is not received, teams will be removed from the league.
