Team Registration
When you think you know a group of people that would enjoy getting together on a regular basis for a bit of physical activity, pull them together as a Team! All of the OCSSC sports are team oriented and we love it when you sign up that way.
Download the Team Registration pdf and save it on your computer. It can be printed out, filled in and mailed to the OCSSC office -OR- Fill in the form on the computer (pdf, scan, etc) and email it to register@orangecountyssc.com . The team deposit then must be mailed or delivered.
To secure your team spot in any sport season we only need the Team Registration form and $200 team deposit by the registration deadline for that sport! This can all be done by the captain/coach.
The captain then has until week 1 of the season to get his/her player roster together and collect the fees from those individuals. Each sport has a recommended # of players per team. Any additional team members get a reduced cost.
It is the captains responsibility to collect the roster signatures and fees from their players and turn everything in to the OCSSC by week 1. (early completion of thus is appreciated) Everyone who steps on the field must be on the official roster kept by the OCSSC. Rosters are locked on week 3 of the season.
You do not need to have a "complete" team to register as a team.
The team balance & roster are due at the pre season coaches meeting but will be accepted at the week 1 games
If you are short players (male &/or female) we can help fill your roster by placing individual registrants on your team. There is a spot on the form to request additional players
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Team registration deposit - The $200 deposit is divided into 2 purposes. $100 applies toward the team balance (total depends on # of players) and the other $100 is held as a "league fine Bond". This Bond must remain at $100 through the entire season and will be given back to the team/captain after the teams final game. The $100 will be used if the team incurs an unannounced forfeit thus owing the opposing team a $50 bar tab or if the team misses a Line Judging Assignment and owes the OCSSC Officials $50. With this Bond the OCSSC will be able to award the receiving team their "Bar Tab" that day! Any amounts that come out of the Bond MUST be replenished before 12:00 noon on the following friday or the teams game on Saturday will be a Called Forfeit. A "Called Forfeit" is one that is announced to the OCSSC before Noon on friday, allowing the OCSSC to inform the opposing team that they have been forfeited to. In this case there is NO $ penalty - but the team IS still responsible for any Line Judge Assignment!
If the Bond is NOT replenished within 11 days of levy, the team will be removed from the Season Schedule with NO refunds!
Individual Registration
This is a great way to meet new friends weather you just moved to town or are branching out.
Download the Individual Registration form pdf and save it on your computer. It can be printed out, filled in and mailed to the OCSSC office -OR- Fill in the form on the computer (pdf, scan, etc) and email it to register@orangecountyssc.com . The league fee then must be mailed or delivered.
Once received your spot on a team is secure! You will then be informed (upon registration completion) what team you are on. This will either be a team that has requested additional players or a complete team formed of Individual Registrants. The OCSSC will provide both you & the team captain with eachothers contact info.
Teams formed of all Individual Registrants will need someone to step up & fill the role of Captain. This person will be refunded their registration fee as a thank you for helping out!
